This paper refers to the large number of domestic and foreign literature, makes some conclusions and ananalysis the application of composite geomembrane in the South to North Water Diversion. First of all, Using Geostudio software to simulate the temperature field analysis of composite geomembrane, the results offer some reference; Then, researching the aging of composite geomembrane about seepage of canal and analysis of stress strain and stability field coupling field, and the composite geomembrane infiltration defects in different parts and different sizes of the influence line and the stability of the channelis simulated and analyzed, the main research contents are as follows:(1) Using the domestic and foreign literature about the composite geomembrane, based on the previous results, the objective evaluation to the research in the literature information, and puts forward the corresponding suggestions, provide the basis for the future study on this aspect of the problem.(2) Using Temp/w module in Geostudio of composite geomembrane perennial temperature field of the corresponding simulations were carried out, according to the numerical simulation results and the combined test and prediction models of different temperature and humidity of the Yellow River Hydraulic Research Institute, calculating the parameters of composite geomembrane in software.(3) Using the Geostudio finite element numerical analysis of the Sigma/w and the Slope/w module to solve the aging and unaging composite geomembrane effects of stress coupling seepage and slope stability analysis, provide reliable for safe operation and economic benefits of the water diversion project.(4) Simulating for construction defects in different parts of the composite geomembrane with different sizes, through the effect of different sizes and different parts of defects on the saturation line, engineering stress and deformation and stability analysis for the safe operation of water supply and water diversion project, it provides a reliable guarantee.
