| With rapid development of new rural construction, urbanization and tourism,how to preserve and utilize the rural architectural heritage is imminent. Function updating, as one of the important means of architectural utilization, gradually is developed into the integration of economy, community, culture and physical space saving rural architectural heritage. For different types of rural architectural heritage,how to choose a reasonable way of function updating becomes the focus we concerns.There are countless buildings with splendid culture and thousands of years of history in China. And poor areas usually concentrate a large number of different types of rural architectural heritage but which were often ignored and ultimately demised.Only through various forms of function updating, functional regeneration of rural architectural heritage can be achieved, and then drives the ancient villages to continue,regenerate and even rejuvenate.Based on the function updating theory, this paper takes the protection and utilization of rural architectural heritage as the key research content. Through defining some related concepts of rural architectural heritage, interpreting its development course and status, scientifically anglicizing the highlight contradictions,this paper focuses on research the methods, modes and paradigms to protect and use rural architectural heritage, and discuss the measures on operability.The paper based Hakka round housing protection status, will creatively update the function of the General round houses except Cultural relics protection units.On the premise of round houses in situ conservation, protecting heritage, flourishing tourism will develop interactively. Through building "a round house a products", the round houses in South Jiangxi would become a multifunction of “Living Culture Museum” integrating with sightsee, and holiday, and shopping, and residence and working office etc. |
