Transmission towers is a highly higher special structure, the role of it is conveying circuit.So it is very important among the entire system. The demand for electricity has be increased with an increasing consumer demand,with the development of the society, then,the structural stability and reliability of the transmission towers and requirements have be increased, how to improve the stability and resistance to transmission tower load on the environment,it will be an urgent to be further addressed.By load type transmission tower complex, many studies have wind loads, seismic loads and loads such as ice cover in recent years. This paper argues that the instability of the whole structure is very complex. In a single load, the tower is not prone to be damaged. On the contrary, Load combination effect would undermine structural instability. Once the structure of one tower being damaged, transmission lines will be paralyzed. Then,reconstruction maintenance costs would even exceed the construction costs, not even mention the immeasurable indirect losses.In this paper, with the similarity experiment theory produced a tower structure of model, using laboratory and computer to analyze comparative analysis of dynamic characteristics. In the meantime, the responses of the structure to several load combinations are dissected by time history analysis. The purpose of using above mentioned analysis methods is to optimize certain bars. The contents conclude four points:1.Based on the similarity theory making transmission tower model, test analysis,natural vibration frequencies and mode shapes obtained by comparing the software and laboratories to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the structures.2.A finite element model of steel transmission towers will be made by ANSYS software, and using the finite element method for structural dynamic characteristics analysis, the structure of dynamic parameters for analyzing dynamic structural response in case loads and provides a foundation for further study of a variety of dynamic loads to avoid resonance and other issues.3. The response of a given load is applied using ANSYS software(wind loads,seismic waves, wire loads) on transmission towers, and the response were analyzed,suggesting that structural response characteristics and stress distribution under different loads, then, after applying the load combination and comparative analysis,structural instability and failure reasons of state for global optimization provide the basis for the next step.4. According to the stress-time curve after applying various load combinations of each rod, the stress distributions at different times can be compared. This is helpful to find the dangerous rods in the structure. After proper optimization, stress should be relatively even and stability should also be strengthened...
