In the modern train control system, the train broadcasting system, which is a significant part of the passenger information system, can provide high quality broadcasting service about announcement information for the passengers and make their travel more convenient. The train broadcasting system, covering the range of the entire train, is an essential part of the operating with the train. In the "people-oriented" service purposes, how to make the train broadcasting system more efficient and more effective for the passenger’service is the key issue needed to be explored now. In the current stage, most of the domestic train broadcasting system use the analog voice transmission technology. The circuit is more complex and susceptible to be interfered in the practical application. For the sake of improving the low flexibility and low redundancy of the train broadcasting system, combining with the embedded technology and network technology, this paper proposes a model of digital radio communication based on MVB. The system uses the bus topology structure and makes the digital audio signal as transmission means, which enhance the tone quality of the broadcasting and promote the redundancy and reliability of the system.Firstly, this paper describes the characteristics of the train broadcasting system and make summary of its research status and future trends and after that, discussed the significance of the subject. Then, with the analysis of the functional requirements of the train broadcasting system, this paper designs the overall framework of the system and the architecture of hardware and software. In the research, the digital broadcasting system based on embedded Linux. It uses TMS320DM6467(ARM+DSP) that is a DaVinci structure as the core processor and uses MVB as the communication network of the train broadcasting. Thirdly, the paper researches the key technology about the terminal software of the train digital broadcasting control system. The realization process of each functional module in the broadcasting system is introduced in detail. The system has realized the broadcasting functions include full-duplex Cab to Cab announce, full-duplex emergency intercom, artificial broadcasting, digital auto broadcasting, OCC broadcasting and multimedia player broadcasting. Fourthly, by setting up a test environment, every function of the digital broadcasting system has been tested to verify the feasibility of the system. Finally, the paper made the summary and the prospect for the research work. There are24pictures,12tables and48references in this paper.
