The servo system is a kind of control systems whose output can change quickly and accurately with a change in the input. The traditional servo system is a combination of a DC motor and analog controller, but this kind of servo structure has weak environmental adaptation ability and large maintenance amount, so it become the factor which restrict the development of the industry gradually. With the deepening of the process of industrialization, more and more field put forward higher requirements on the performance of the servo system. AC servo system which using permanent magnet synchronous motor as a control device, combined with modern power electronics technology, computer technology and control technology is gradually replacing the traditional servo system and has become one of research institutions and industrial enterprises of research.The structure of a permanent magnet synchronous motor is described in this paper and a mathematical model based on the rotating coordinate system is established. Vector control principle and space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is in-depth study and the vector control strategies based on id=0 is adopted to lay the theoretical foundation for the system hardware and software design. Servo drive hardware circuit is designed with TMS320F28335 of TI Company as the core, including the main loop, drive inverter modules, DSP module, the current detection module, speed detection module, Ethernet communication module. The software of each module is developed based CCS4.0 development environment. Each module and the entire system were simulated in the Simulink environment and the correctness of the design is verified.
