The development theme of the modern car industry is Flyweight,Energy conservation and Comfortable.The bumper is the most typical plastic component of the car,mianly composed of polypropylene with modification.As an Universal Plastics,polypropylene has excellent comprehensive property,such as excellent mechanical properties,thermostability,weatherability and chemical stability.At present,as the second largest plastic pipe,Polypropylene pipe is widely used in the areas of municipal,construction and agriculture,meanwhile it has good market prospect.Every year,a mass of waste bumper will be produced in the world,it leads to waste the resource and danmage the environment,so we must recycle the waste bumper reasonable.Through the modification technology,we can prepare the moulded drainage pipe of polypropylene,this method may improve the current situation of drainage pipe rely on imprted in our country.With the method of melting regeneration,the technical process of recycling the bumper is studied in this paper,at the same time,we test the mechanical properties and melt index of bumper.According to sorting â†' coating removal â†' crush â†' drying â†' extrusion â†' the granulator â†' injection molding,the waste bumper was recycled and regenerated.Through the test of mechanical properties,it showed that the tensile strength was 18.71 MPa,the impact strength was 3.1KJ·m-2,the bending strength was 30.63 MPa and the bending modulus was 920.84 MPa.Through the instrument of melt index,it showed that the melt flow rate of bumper was 4.71g·(10min)-1.In the environment of liquid nitrogen,we can broke the bumper spline,then,the natural cross secion of the bumper spline was observed by scan electron microscope,it showed that the polypropylene plastic has bad bonding and brittle fracture.The waste bumper of polypropylene modified by calcium carbonate and ethylene-octene was studied in this paper.Analysis the effect of calcium with coupling agent and compatibilizer on the waste bumper and the effect of ethylene-octene content on the composite material of r-PP/CaCO3.It showed that the coupling agent and compatibilizer can improve the decentralized state of calcium carbonate in the continuous polypropylene phase.Both additives calcium carbonate and ethylene-octene copolymer are good toughening agents for waste polypropylene.The mechanical properties of composite material started to decline when the calcium carbonate and ethylene-octene over-dosed.Therefore,the suitable content of the calcium carbonate was 15 phr,and the ethylene-octene was 15 phr.As a result of the calcium carbonate and ethylene-octene had high surface energy,it may lead to flow the melt flow rate of the waste bumper.Finally,we prepared the materials of the moulded drainage pipes of polypropylene with the method of orthogonal experiment.The formula solution of this experiment was that mass radio of polypropylene/calcium carbonate/ethylene-octene/ aluminate coupling/ PP-g-MAH/oleamide/antioxygen1010 was 100/15/15/1/10/0.3/0.5,meet the mechanical properties requirement of the moulded drainage pipe of polypropylene.Through the ring stiffness of pipe,flat experiment,drop hammer impact and oven test,the property of the polypropylene pipe had reach the performace requirements of ISO 15874:2013.
