Cable-stayed bridge is an indispensable bridge in bridge structure. Compared with other bridge structures, cable-stayed bridge not only has advantages of large span, small size of beam body, beautiful shape, but also has a significant economic advantage. The internal force of the main girder of cable-stayed bridge is not only influenced by the main girder beam body itself, but also is affected by the cable force and its distribution. Besides, the internal force of the main girder can be improved by adjusting the cable force for the cable is adjustable. Therefore the research of the cable force of cable-stayed bridge is of great important.Determination of the cable force of cable-stayed bridge is considered from two aspects:the reasonable cable force of completed bridge and the reasonable cable force in the process of construction. The former is the cable force when cable-stayed bridge is completed, the latter is the cable force in order to reach the reasonable cable force of completed bridge during the construction and ensure the safety of each construction stage. There are a lot of methods to determine the reasonable cable force of completed bridge and the reasonable cable force in the process of construction now, this article expound the basic theory of the relevant methods in detail. Calculation and analysis based on the influence matrix method can relative accurately determine the cable force of cable-stayed bridge through comparison and analysis. So in this article, the optimized influence matrix method was applied to research the cable force of a practical case.This article mainly introduced the application of the influence matrix method in the calculation of cable force of complete bridge and cable force in the process of construction. First, established correct cable-stayed bridge model by finite element software MIDAS. Then, applied the influence matrix method based on the model to calculate cable force of complete bridge and cable force in the process of construction, and compared with the cable force on the construction drawings, and analysis the calculation accuracy of the influence matrix method.On the other hand,This article relied on the construction monitoring of a practical case. Realized the prediction of the linear and internal force of the next construction stage by structural testing and tracking calculation. Then, give the corresponding reasonable feedback measures to ensure the safety and stability of the construction. The monitoring results have further verified the accuracy of applying the influence matrix method to calculate the cable force in the process of construction.In the last of this article discussed the cable force of cable-stayed bridge, proposed the factors not mentioned, and forecasted the application of the influence matrix method in the future.
