Concrete cracking has always been one of the more complex research topics, Structural cracks generated during construction of sluice has been troubled by the focus of builders and managers. In order to solve this problem, some domestic research institutions launched a science and technology research and has achieved some success, but still can not avoid the occurrence of concrete cracking during construction of such structures. This article is on the basis of previous studies and practical project for the study of a large sluice, which used finite-element numerical simulation around sluice and inverted "T" type structure consisting of mound wall to study the problem of temperature and crack during construction. The main contents are presented as follows:(1) On the basis of reviewing a large number of domestic and foreign literature, this article describes the research for the problem of temperature and crack during hydraulic structures.(2) Systematically expounded the basic theory and the finite-element method for concrete unsteady temperature field and stress field. Also it describes the iterative solution of cooling pipes.(3) Based on the above principles and methods, the article takes a large sluice of Shandong for the study, sets up finite-element model, determines the temperature, geological and thermodynamic parameters of materials, simulates the sluice concrete actual temperature and stress field under different temperature cracking programs in the construction process, explores the possibility and reasons of cracking, calculates and compares through working conditions, optimizes measures for temperature control. Finally, form a set of temperature cracking method to provide a reference guide for the problem of the actual construction and the similar projects.
