In the early days of the construction of the plant will have a large number have entered the aging period, with the social development, scientific and technological progress, a lot of infrastructure, industrial plants can not meet the growing needs of people, so its direct impact on the state of technology and product production quality, limiting the development of production. Therefore, China has experienced a massive new after the current focus has turned to the plant has been built in the reinforcement, reconstruction can recover faster than new funds to promote a more rational economy rapid and healthy development of the industry have Retrofitting great social significance and economic benefits. In this paper, the single chemical plant using the time has reached more than 50 years, the use of steel columns and steel crane beam has different degrees of corrosion,is due to the increase of crane tonnage production needs, the first is detection and identification, the work mainly includes: investigation of thickness and strength reduction, drawing steel column verticality detection, and detection the foundation settlement. Secondly, according to the appraisal conclusion to take reinforcement columns and crane girder section enlargement method, finally using PKPM software to check the bearing capacity of strengthened columns. The calculated results can meet the requirement; then modal analysis is carried out to strengthen the plant using the SAP2000 program, the result verifies the rationality of PKPM bearing capacity calculation of crane after reinforcement; beam using SAP2000 finite element analysis,by the calculation of the reinforcement design of crane beam is judged the cloud safe and reliable.
