The Research On The Effect Analysis Of Condenser Pump Frequency Conversion Renovation In Taicang Power Plant

It is advocated in our country that we should build a conservation-oriented society, protect our environment and make reasonable use of resources. If electric power enterprises improve the efficiency of resource utilization, it is not only beneficial to improve their economic benefits, but also an important reflection of undertaking social responsibility, and answering the call of our country.Along with the sustainable growth of our country economy, the development pace of electric power continuously sped up, the power grid continuously extend, and the total installed capacity of generating set is increasing. However, the energy consumption of generating set is also increasing. How to decrease the rate of auxiliary power, and save energy is an important problem that we should resolved. Condensate pump is one of the important auxiliary equipment, and its energy consumption occupies higher proportion in the auxiliary power. Condensate pump frequency conversion reconstruction is helpful to decrease the rate of power plant auxiliary power, fulfil social responsibility, and increase the economic benefit of power station.Firstly, this paper introduces the frequency conversion technology in the research and application status at home and abroad, and summarizes the future trend of the development of frequency conversion technology. secondly, it introduces the principle of frequency converter speed control, and the harm of inverter and its preventive measures. Then on the basis, it makes the frequency conversion innovation of condensate pump in taicang power plant. The whole process includes the design of the retrofit scheme, the transformation effect of debugging and the analysis of modification result. As the design, the project adopts scheme of one for two, use a main connection, a single motor frequency conversion operation for a long time, and the other long standby power frequency electric motor. we choose to use power unit series folding wave booster technology of high voltage frequency converter. Plant commissioning, including electrical equipment for high voltage test, the secondary equipment inspection, equipment charged debugging, thermal control system check debugging, system debugging, inverter system quality inspection test and so on six items. Through reforming unit data,we found that after transforming not only the energy saving effect is obvious, but also the equipment performance and security are improved.
