The Design Of Urban Water Supply Network Monitoring System

Urban water supply is an important industry in the people’s livelihood, with the expansion of city size and the improvement of the people’s living standards, the urban water consumption has increased a lot and the requirements of water quality have become more sophisticated. Designing an efficient, full coverage monitoring system of water supply network, improving its security, efficiency, has become an important subject. Taking into account that the large number of nodes of water supply network and the wide distribution, the degree thesis designs a urban water supply network monitoring systemThe monitoring system of the city water supply network is composed by RTU, GPRS communication network and monitoring center. The remote monitoring station is composed by RTU, pressure transmitters, flow meter, and solenoid valve. It could acquire data of pressure and flow of node. The monitoring center connected to the Internet through a broadband and applies for a fixed IP. RTU transmits the data to the monitoring center through the GPRS network. The monitoring center builds a software platform by using Fame View configuration software and it’s able to realize the function of real-time data recording dynamic display and storage management. Monitoring center can also be able to give instructions through the GPRS network, realize remote control on pipeline valves.This system has realized the function of real-time monitoring of water supply network,data storage,export,signal limit alarm,improved security and efficiency of the water supply network monitoring system.This system is able to realize remote control on range multiple nodes. It has favorable commonality. Make minor changes to data acquisition equipment and the monitoring center according to specific circumstances then it can be applied to other remote data acquisition system.
