| Hydropower belongs to renewable clean energy, and occupies a very high proportion in the existing energy structure system. Due to its pollution-free, low operation maintenance cost, easy to adjust the grid electricity demand. Environment problem increasingly is so prominent that develop clean energy and raise the proportion of clean energy in energy structure is necessary.Hydropower resources is rich in China, and the development of water energy to improve the comprehensive benefit of economy and society. With development of the technology in the hydropower development, many problem be solved gradually at the same time. Hydropower engineering technology and equipment design and manufacturing technology continues to develop made hydraulic efficiency are improved. Since 1912, China’s first hydropower station Plants in Yunnan since Shilong Dam, a large number of the old power plant equipment has serious aging, damage, power generation efficiency is very poor, frequent accidents, synergistic expansion reformation is imperative. Therefore, there is such a topic, for capacity expansion effect modification of old hydropower station. To modify the aging damage hydroelectric equipment, increase output, improve efficiency, improve the utilization rate of water and electricity energy.A feasibility study for horizontal Francis turbine efficiency of a hydropower station in Sichuan expansion transformation in this paper. For the efficiency and expansion transform the structure of the runner and the unit was redesigned, and whole passage flow of hydraulic turbine was analyzed through CFD analysis technology. Results show that based on CFD technology expansion efficiency power plant turbine transformation method will improve existing hydropower station operation ability and guarantee the safe and reliable operation of the electrical and mechanical equipment has very important reference value. |
