Taking the world’s first 1000MW supercritical direct air-cooled units of Hua Dian Ning Xia Ling Wu Power Generation Co. Ltd, as a example, analysis of the environment wind on the back pressure of direct air-cooled unit and the influence of the heat transfer performance of direct air-cooled island were done. And through the numerical simulation, analysis and study of the feasibility of 1000 MW supercritical direct air-cooled island with the windshield were presented. For the local wind direction, different height and the permeable rates of the windshield influence on the back pressure of unit were analyzed. For attending the best structural paramenter. At the same time, analysis the effect on the unit economy with add the windshield. Hope that through the project research, for adding the windshield on the large ultra-supercritical direct air-cooled unit provide technical guidance and reference.
