The dam and duke was important buildings constructed by human for Hing Water and eliminating water damage,but once the dam outburst it will bring immeasurable loss of life and property, if we can quickly formulate rapid and effective blocking measures after the inevitable accident, we will greatly reduce the losses caused by the levees break.Thus, by means of numerical simulation study of the mechanical properties of the dam burst in different conditions,and to accurate fast and effective emergency measures of blocking rescue measures has an important practical significance.By studies the research background and significance of the dyke breach and analysis the theory and numerical simulation methods of dyke breach home and abroad,this paper studies the following:(1) Using the FLOW-3D software for three widely used examples of local instantaneous dam break、rectangular obstacle dam break and triangular barrier dam break to conducted numerical simulation,then compared the results of FLOW-3D with the representative literature results,it shows that the results are basically the same.It test and verify the accuracy of the numerical model and identified the feasibility of using FLOW-3D to conducted the simulation of dyke breach for hydraulic characteristics.(2) In the base of using FLOW-3D for verification of the Classic examples,we use FLOW-3D conducted three-dimensional numerical simulation for the hydraulic characteristics of straight river dyke burst in conditions of different entrance shapes, different entrance widths, then to get the result of the hydraulic characteristics of flow field, flow, flow rate, head, etc by the dyke breach in front four different conditions(3) First,briefly analysis the particle size requirements of burst blocking material,then using FLOW-3D to conducted simulation of the dyke breach by horizontal closure and vertical closure for hydraulic characteristics,to get the results of characteristics change of water level、 water distribution 、flow velocity and velocity distribution etc during the process of closure,According to the characteristics of the velocity distribution of dyke breach, we explore the plugging technical solutions of dyke break,and provide the basis for dyke emergency and make plugging plan for dyke breach.
