The smart home aims to let people control and get status from household appliances in anywhere. The Cloud Service is the center of information transmission of smart home.It guarantees the quality of service. The technology of Cloud Service in smart home has a growing concern in recent years.This thesis starts from the actual needs of the smart home, designing and implementing the Cloud Service platform using the server cluster which is based on IaaS. The central server monitors the whole platform. The function server is in charge of the transmission and codec of the data. The web server supports the HTTP protocol in the open platform and provides access to the management system. The database server and the archive server are used for the storage of the data.This thesis fully designs and implements the function server. It designs the application-layer communication protocol to solve the problem of how to host the data in C/S communication model. It adopts IO multiplexing to solve the problem of how multiple clients access to the cloud platform. It uses the heartbeat messages to ensure the stability of the data link. In order to solve the problem of sticky packages and split packages, the thesis proposes a data processing method based on the buffer. Meanwhile, this thesis also designs the central server, database server, web server and archive serverFor the industry’s popular opening minds, the thesis has designed a completely open platform scheme. It makes the system resources open to the third-party developers through a variety of ways. The developers can get the system resources through the open platform and write more feature-rich software. This thesis presents a framework which can both provide HTTP-based API and Java-based SDK.Finally, the system is tested both in simulation and field. The results show that the Cloud Service platform which the thesis proposed can achieve the desired goals and meet the normal demand.
