The Balcony Design On The Building Facade In The Perspective Of Formal Beauty

In the category of the architectural design aesthetics, the “formal beauty” refers to the rule and law of beauty in the form of architecture. This article analyses from the perspective of formal beauty, and tries to do a research about the balcony design on the building facade.The article firstly analyses from the concept of the form and formal beauty, sums up the major laws of formal beauty, and analyses the characteristics of these aesthetic principles, understanding the connotation of formal beauty. Secondly, this article analyses the connection between formal beauty and the building facade, and sums up the law of formal beauty of building facade through the definition, the composition elements, the influencing factors and design principles of the building facade. Then, formal beauty in the balcony design is further analyzed from the basic features, constituent elements and the forms of the balcony, concluding the significance of the balcony in the facade composition. Finally, according to the studies, combined with the actual cases that author personally involved in and some other good examples, several countermeasures to improve formal beauty have been concluded and a variety of methods under the aesthetic principles on the balcony design have been put forward.
