Slump sully is a form of serious soil erosion in soil hilly region of southern China. Slump sully erosion will not only produce but also easily lead to landslides and other hazards. With the rapid economic development, people have more requirements for living environment, and our country is paying attention to environmental protection, more and more, so the research of Slump sully erosion has important practical significance and needs for control soil erosion of our country and Jiangxi Province.The study of soil erosion control a big issue, and it involves many disciplines. The main work of this article is to study the soil’s all basic features that could happening slump sully erosion and the factors and the composed of erosion force. then these studies will be as a basis for the stability study of the slop in the area through numerical simulation analysis. Soil erosion in theory can be considered as the study of shear strength of soil, through the literature review it is be found that the study of soil erosion also is the study the changes of shear strength of soil, so this article is mainly around the shear strength of the soil to study slump sully erosion. The main research work and conclusions are as follows:(1) This research done many experimentals including particle density, particle analysis, limits moisture, compaction penetration, direct shear and other conventional soil test. The basic physical properties are be measured in systematically, and the test results are summarized, analysis for detail, in particular the soil samples of collected being analyzed is silty clay; while the soil from of the zone that have slump sully was conducted the test of static triaxial, and the values of cohesion c and internal friction angle υ value be got. Then those values will be used in the study of numerical Simulation Analysis in the fifth chapter.(2) Slump sully erosion factor was studied through experimental of direct shear, these factors are moisture content, dry density, lime content, curing time of the soil that was incorporated as well as wet and dry cycle. Results of experimental data obtained that the moisture content has obvious impact in soil shear strength. the reducing of dry density and the increase of the number of wet and dry cycles can be reduced to the soil shear strength. while the incorporation of lime can improve soil shear strength, and dosage of lime and soil conservation time was positively correlated with soil shear strength;(3) It is analyzed that contributing factor and mechanism of Slump sully erosion, geotechnical ingredients and the role of water on earth. The expression of raindrop erosion stress and the expression of overland flow erosion force were drawn on the basis of existing theoretical derivation. And it was analysis obtained through theoretical formulas and compare test results that the raindrop erosion impacts can not be ignored.(4) The large works have be made about control of soil erosion in Yudu county of Jiangxi, and those works reached a certain treatment effect. This article by analysing the slope stability under numerical simulation rainfall argumentation the effect of slope cutting governance, and the relationship between degree of slope and slope stability factor was be obtained. Then the results will be used to guide the actual slope cutting management project that be implement in future.(5) The direct shear tests and numerical simulation also be used to demonstrating that whether adding lime can improve soil properties and slope stability, so it can achieve control and prevention of slump sully erosion. It is be got that adding lime can improve soil shear strength, with the addition amount of the increase and the increase of curing time, cohesion and internal friction angle of the soil are increasing. Final the tability factor of the slope that’s surface covered with a layer of soil who added lime is increased.
