Research On Visual Simulation System Of Guided Bomb

With the research and development of high-tech weapons systems, military simulationtechnology has been applied more and more widely in the field of national defense scienceand technology. As the earliest and the most successful application of system simulation in theengineering field, the hardware-in-the-loop simulation requires higher degree of visualsimulation, promoting the development of visual simulation technology in the military field.This paper carries out the research and implementation of the visual simulationtechnology based on the engineering development of guided bombs. The main researchcontents are as follows:1．According to the research on technology of visual simulation, analyzed the advantagesof Unity3D as a development tool for visual simulation system，therefore put forward thevisual simulation system based on virtual reality. Combined with the structure, flight andhardware-in-the-loop simulation system of a certain type of guided bombs, completed theoverall design of the visual simulation system for guided bomb.2．On the basis of engineering application,3D visual modeling and3D acoustic modelingbased on Unity3D were researched, including3D modeling,3D terrain modeling, particlesystem effects, collision detection technology and so on, completing modeling of visualsimulation system for guided bomb.3．User interfaces, serial communication and model-driven were designed based onMicrosoft Visual Studio2010, implementing the driver layer design of visual simulationsystem for guided bomb. The visual simulation system was developed through systemmodeling and the driver layer design, and its effect was analyzed and verified by simulationtest.In this paper, the visual simulation system for a certain type of guided bomb based onvisual simulation platform was designed and implemented. Experiments demonstrate that this simulation system can receive and process simulation data from simulation computer whendoing hardware-in-the-loop test, also actuate the guided bomb model, display its flight andattitude change in real time, playing an important role in improving the developmentefficiency and performance of the weapons.
