The development of the high-speed train is significant for letting people feel convenient to travel and accelerating regional exchanges. And it is an important area of our country’s investment. By adaptation and assimilation of the foreign technology and indigenous innovation, the high-speed train technology of our country is becoming one of the most advanced train technologies in the world. Now China has various types of CRH EMUs and the world’s longest high-speed railway network, and is promoting our high-speed train technology to the world.Train traction control and train communication network are the core technologies of high-speed train technology. These two technologies are like the heart and nervous system of the high-speed train. The research of these two technologies is significant for shortening the gap between the domestic and foreign technology, improving the running safety of train, enhancing the comfort of passengers and developing new generations of high speed trains.Based on the existing research of our lab, this paper designed and integrated a hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform oriented to TCN network control. The platform contains two parts:TCN network and train control simulation system. The configuration of TCN can have two choices:WTB/MVB architecture in accordance with the IEC-61375standard and Ethernet/MVB framework developed by our lab. Gateways, CCU, ATP, MMI, DCU, TCU and other control units are connected on TCN. Control simulation system with train driving as the background, selected the traction control subsystem, door control subsystem and driving simulation subsystem as representative subsystems to simulate. Finally, the physical simulation and MVB interface were realized. In the simulation platform, the developments of control units were focused, such as KLIP and ATP. And the signal communication between control units and target systems was established.The research after integration of the platform indicates that the platform can effectively simulate the driving process of the train driver. The platform can provide simulation data with the actual background for the research of the new generations of high speed trains, the network background for the study of traction control and conditions for further research.
