With the environment of varied customer requirements and the increasinglyfierce market competition, meeting the individual needs of customers is becomingthe premise for enterprises to gain more profit, but it also comes with the problemsof high cost, long cycle of design and production, low equipment utilization rateand so on. At the present, the method has the circumstances in solving problems thatthe quantitative description method of product performance requirements is notperfect. The requirements can’t be accurately converted to product performancecharacteristics of the requirement in design, the product family model is lack ofproduct performance requirement information and process information, which resultin the fuzzy input information during product configuration design to make theinaccurate results at the time of manufacturing process resource configuration, letthe equipment lie idle and so on. The product performance is taken as thebreakthrough point, and the multidimensional model of product family is studiedand established. Basing on this, carrying on product configuration design, setting upconfiguration model of process manufacturing process, realizing the optimization ofthe manufacturing process, the utilization rate of equipment is effectively improvedunder the premises of meeting product market response speed and cost requirements.The concrete research contents are as follows:First of all, to established a unique expression form of demand we should analyzethe information of customer demand under mass customization. In order to achievecustomer demand clustering processing, we can use the principal hierarchy analysismethod to choose and extract the performance characteristics of the customerdemand. On the basis of what we have done, we can establish the customer needontology model and lay the foundation for product family ontology mapping.The second, we have established the process of product family model. Throughthe mapping relationship between the performance characteristics, structural model and process information, we proposed a fuzzy AHP method to achieve the mappingproperties of products structure. In order to determine the mapping relationshipbetween product structure and process information, we used the polychromatic settheory to analyze. To obtain the performance characteristics of the processinformation structure, we constructed the product configuration model.The third, established the process level resource configuration model, includingthe manufacturing task model, manufacturing resource model and process model.To satisfy the quality, duration, cost constraints, the rational allocation of processinformation and resource entity, and put forward the model of optimizing theallocation of resources to solve the level of process improvement genetic algorithmfor manufacturing, manufacturing process optimization.Finally, a prototype system is established based on the system architecture andfunction module design, by combined with a case of valve manufacturer, this paperhas analyzed the existing problems, and designed the valve product. Throughanalyzing the effect of the application, the validity and usefulness of this article onproduct configuration design and manufacturing process optimization based on theperformance characteristics of the study results are verified.
