Hydraulic digital is a development trend in the future, With the rapid development of electronic technology, digital valve will be more and more widely used. Digital valve can accurately control hydraulic system’s pressure, flow and direction, etc. digital valve body is small, can directly receive computer control signals without analog-to-digital conversion element, its control is simple, manufacturability is good too, low using cost, reliable work, easy to maintenance, oil pollution resistance is strong, also can work normally under complex environment.This thesis designed a digital throttle valve using to accurately control flow, comparing with pulse width modulation valve, high-speed on-off valves, etc. considering these advantages and disadvantages, finally chose the incremental digital valve, designed the structure of the digital valve. Analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different forms of throttling mouth, finally chose the rectangular hole as the throttling mouth because of its linear of flow and valve opening is very good, chose stepper motor as digital valve movement’s control element because its angular displacement is proportional to the number of pulse. Through theoretical analysis of digital found its throttle static performance were studied, established mathematical model to analysis digital valve’s dynamic performance of valve, using Simulink software research on its simulation, compared valve’s dynamic response under different frequency, using the computational fluid dynamics theory, simulation research on the throttle valve’s interior flow field with FLUENT software, according to the simulation results, improved the throttle valve structure optimization.Developed the digital throttling valve that can be directly controlled by computer in real time successful, its static performance is good, the area of valve’s mouth relationship with stepper motor pulse is proportional to its number, dynamic performance is very well, valve’s internal flow field near the port is reasonable, this progress has a very important reference value to the design of digital valve and throttle.
