Isolator has played an important role in the practical engineering for noise isolation areas. The theoretical significance and practical application has got widespread attention.This paper mainly contrary to the high center of gravity of the transformer substation lead to the swing phenomenon and the construction noise. The most important thing is the design of isolator and the research and analysis for the experimental methods. And on the basis of actual situation and design costs, we put forward design the Z type isolator to solve the problem.The core design of the isolator is about the design of the spring and the core design of the spring is about its static performance and dynamic property. So the experiments have been carried out. First we have used the dynamic testing systems to carry out the experiment of static performance. Then we have used the direct method and drivng point method of the laboratory measurement of vibro-acoustic transfer properties of resilient elements to carry out the experiment of the dynamic property.The experiment of static performance was divided into a single spring and parallel springs. The preload were3000N and6000N, after the loading process and the uninstall process we have got the dynamic stiffness. As for the experiment of the dynamic property,we have set up. the experimental platform. At last we have got the dynamic stiffness between1Hz to100Hz of the frequency.After the design of Z type isolator and the experimental analysis, we have known the vibro-acoustic transfer properties of resilient elements. We reached the conclusion, the design and experiment methods were reliable. The results provide theoretical and experimental gist to reduce the construction noise and to solve the swing phenomenon. In a word it was an important reference for the research and analysis of isolator.
