| The vehicle quantity increase dramatically recent years in China with economic great development, and especially due to quick urbanization process, the existing traffic situation is worsening continuously. It becomes normal status for traffic jam and over-loading. This bad traffic environment overload the city road, which cause ruts on lanes and packageetc damage can be seen everywhere."Urban Dieseas"becomes worse and worse. Then we have to repair roads more frequently which results more traffic jam. To adjust roadway structure and incase the road service lift, and to improve the road capacity becomes prime task for road workers.Dalian road situation is same as other places. At present Dalian is under rapid growing for urbanization, and it is more accurate to say that Dalian is under both high peak periods for economic development and city motorization. Dalian population increases exponentially under this situation. The number of vehicle quantity, especially for private car increase sharply; and at the same time, the public quantity and other vehicles also improves fast. With this background, although city constructors are opening new routes, repairing and widening already damaged road every year, these work still cannot fulfill the requirements of more vehicles, and constant repair cannot satisfy the road durability demand.This paper takes road early disease as starting point, to deeply study the relationship of road structure depths and road function. Based on function areas in accordance of different depths, mainly for semi-ridged road structure, through orthogonal test method, we optimize the structure design for Dalian semi-ridged road. The result is:Road structure for public bus:54cm+7cm+5cm+4cm; for main road is:54cm+10cm+6cm; and for second trunk road:54cm+8cm+6cm; bypass:40cm+8cm+6cm.This project takes the Northeast Express Road and the Zhongshan Road reconstruction as example and analyses the original data for road building and repair work for recent decades to conclude the internal relation of repair frequency, damage degree, road disease occur probability, time of early damage occur with road structure design. In consideration of city characteristic of Dalian as northern city of China under major influence of oceanic climate, this study advise the best road structure during new building and maintenance for this city, to ensure the road function, to avoid or postpone the time of distress and damage occur for new building or repaired road, which is of help to improve performance of asphalt pavement, to fulfill traffic demand, and this is basic foundation of economic further great development of Dalian city. |
