Nowadays the research on design automatically of block scheme and optimize seems to be very rare, which greatly affect the efficiency of ship design and production, hindering the development of shipbuilding technology. The article put forward a method which can be used to create3D Block model automatically and extracted the weight of breaks by secondary development technology based on CATIA model. On the basis, the hull block design and scheme optimization algorithm is studied, simplifying the work of creation of the hull block3D model. The study overcomes the defect of the difficult to obtain the weight of block, the implementation of quantitative block division and rationalization has a certain reference value.The paper studied and analyzed the ship integrated software technology, CATIA three-dimensional modeling technology (including conventional3D design module of CATIA and ship design module), CATIA secondary development technique, Database technique.Paper studied the block principles on the basis of mathematical model of constraint in block division. Study has defined regions of different types of hull section form of mathematics, and put forward a kind of method that can be able to create automatically block dividing scheme with fuzzy quantified method of the influence of the parameters, the main factors of evaluation of block using analysis and establish the satisfaction function, using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of block division schemes of evaluation.The study use CATIA to create hull block3D model, on the basis of the method creating block model and creating process, it developed a method to create hull block automatically on the technology of3D model. The method of using BOM information is extracted and on this base a method is created to draw the hull weight distribution curve simply.A container ship’s cargo hold area is used as an example. The work to realize the destination that using the automatic segmentation application implements to help block weld arrangement, and using the segmentation scheme optimization algorithm to optimize and verify the feasibility of this method.
