Bridge is the throat of traffic engineering. In our country, with the rapid development of economy, became the world’s second largest economy at the same time, the transportation industry has got great development, traffic network throughout the country, this is the result of economic growth, and is the prerequisite of economic growth rapid and stable development. Moreover, promote cultural exchanges, strengthen national unity, contractible area difference, consolidate national defence and so on, also has the very important significance.Cable-stayed bridge is a cable system, it has realized the large span bridgechange, more than than in the span of Beam bridge, in today’s rapid economic development, is a common type of bridge. Now, cable-stayed bridge because of its great spanning capacity, load transfer path is clear, the structure stress performance is strong, good anti-seismic performance, coupled with its unique economic and architectural modeling has the advantages of the cable-stayed bridge, compared with the other types prevail in the bidding, the industry’s attention, and has been widely used in bridge engineering.Panjin district is located in the East Bay Island Bridge "created" in the saline alkali wasteland of Liaodong Bay area, span335meters, is a main span of the orthotropic steel deck of steel box girder, tower as the shape looks like the swan "head" and "neck" of space structure, the structure is complex, with a uniquesingle tower and spatial cable plance cable-stayed bridge.In this paper the new Panjin Island East Bridge as the engineering background,the main research contents include the following aspects:(1)Firstly traduced the development of the long-span bridge seismic theory, and introduces and discusses several research methods in seismic area;(2) By using Midas/Civil software, and the reference standard, each part of the east bridge finite element modeling and analysis of dynamic characteristics,vibration characteristic analysis of the bridge model;(3)On the basis of modal analysus,according to the requirements of seismic design of bridge site topographic data and the specification,selection of Senfer-t wave as seismic input,the excitation of the seismic waves(longitudinal and vertical)when the earthquake response analysis of space; (4) Application earthquake theory, reducing isolation through software measures on the east of the bridge model, the calculation results with the calculated results and the bridge seismic isolation measures are not adopted in the analysis and comparison, and with the approach taken by the consolidation of the bridge models are compared in terms of internal forces, draw relevant conclusions. Through the cable-stayed bridge under earthquake exhibit performance, can be used as reference material in the future seismic design of the bridge.
