| Energy issue is an important topic of global sustainable development. Proportion of vehicle-based energy consumption accounted for the largest of the total social energy consumption. Vehicle energy consumption is influenced by the vehicle performance itself. Besides the speed of the traffic lane, the microscopic behavior will change accordingly when the road alignment, traffic control, traffic members and other external factors change and further affect the traffic flow energy. Urban road of China is mixed traffic-based with mixed vehicles and insufficient regulation. Different traffic characteristics of road environment have great impact on traffic flow. Analyzing and discussing these traffic characteristics, studying vehicle microscopic behavior variation is an efficient way to analyze and explore the urban road traffic flow energy.This paper discussed the energy consumption on different types of traffic stream, based on the National Natural Science Fund Project "Cumulative energy consumption mechanism and coordination Control Method of urban traffic stream" and energy consumption models of urban traffic flow existed. First, the relationship between fuel consumption and vehicle speed of drag-free continuous traffic stream was analyzed. Second, bottlenecks were used as a prototype of congested continuous flow to propose the vehicle fuel consumption model in congested continuous flow, and the classic case was simulated with the computer software. Third, pedestrian flow and conflicted vehicle flow were took as the main factors of vehicle fuel consumption in uncontrolled intersections and based on them two, energy consumption model of uncontrolled intersections was proposed. At last, combining the classic Webster signalized intersection delay model and simulation software, energy consumption model in signal control intersection was explored which would be more suitable for the road in our homeland. |
