With the rapid development of the social economy, the requirement of the ridecomfort to people was increasingly high, researching and analyzing ride comfort of thecoach which was the main vehicle of the highway passenger transportation becomingvery important. The research level of the ride comfort advanced by leaps and boundswith the help of virtual prototype technology which developed rapidly. To a certain typeof passenger car as the research object in this paper, a rigid-flexible coupling model wasbuilt on the basis of rigid-flexible coupled system dynamics theory,the whole coach ridecomfort simulation analysis was carried out, verifying the result by comparing with thereal vehicle road test, and then improving the ride comfort of the coach through theoptimization design of the suspension parameters.Firstly, frame and leaf spring FE model was built according to the finite elementmodeling method and the modal analysis technology, after the modal analysis, creatingmodal neutral file (.MNF), guiding into ADAMS/Car, then the frame and leaf springflexible model was got. Verifying the frame model by the modal test,and the flexibleleaf spring stiffness was verified in ADAMS/View,the results showed,the frame and leafspring FE model was valid,and they could be used on next step research.Secondly, the subsystem model was built using MSC.ADAMS/Car, such as front andrear suspension, steering system, powertrain, body, tyre, frame, pavement and so on,then the rigid-flexible coupling model was assembled finally. Then stochastic input ridecomfort simulation was conducted, the result showed, passenger felt a littleuncomfortable when the coach traveled above70km/h, so there was something wrongin its ride comfort. Real road test about ride comfort was underway referred to therequirement of GB/T4970-1996, comparative analysis of the two methods showed, therigid-flexible coupling model was accuracy.Lastly,optimization design of the suspension absorber damping parameter andsimulation of the optimazed model was gone ahead taking advantage of the test design(DOE) means of the ADAMS/Insight,which using the vertical accelerationroot-mean-square value as objective function.result showed,the coach ride comfort wasimproved obviously after adopting the optimazed absorber damping parameter. |
