Three phase asynchronous motor has simple structure, reliable operation, and easymaintenance, so it is widely applied. China is the largest producer, but also the use of power insmall motor market. About two-thirds is consumed by asynchronous motor of the total electricityconsumption. And in the whole world, according to IEC60034-30statistics, industrial motorsconsume30to40percent of the total generating capacity, which accounted for three-phase ACinduction motor83percent of all motor. Three-phase induction motor as an energy-hungry,efficiency and power factor is low, so the design of energy-efficient three-phase asynchronousmotor is of great significance in terms of energy savings.For this purpose, this paper introduces a new energy-efficient motors-three-phaseasynchronous motor with optimized magnetism.First, this article focuses on the structure and operating principle of three-phase asynchronousmotors with optimized magnetism. By analyzing the difference between equivalent circuit ofthree-phase asynchronous motor with optimized magnetism and ordinary three-phase asynchronousmotor, it proves theoretically help that three-phase asynchronous motor with optimized magnetismhas high efficiency, high power factor advantage.Secondly, this paper build a motor performance test platform. With this platform, the paperdoes the no-load test, the stall test, load test of three-phase asynchronous motors and three-phaseasynchronous motors with optimized magnetism. By comparing the two motors, this paper provesthat efficiency and power factor of three-phase asynchronous motors with optimized magnetismhave greatly improved,especially in the light load area,most motors are running in the light loadarea, therefore, electrical energy-saving effect of three-phase asynchronous motors with optimizedmagnetism is very obvious. At the same time three-phase asynchronous motors with optimizedmagnetism has a great overload, overload multiple reaches4.53, so it is very appropriate as avehicle drive motor.Finally, in order to three-phase asynchronous motors with optimized magnetism used inelectric vehicles, this paper does the researching and testing of power and braking performance forthree-phase asynchronous motors with optimized magnetism. By these testing, this paper draws thatthree-phase asynchronous motors with optimized magnetism has no need to establish acapacitance-voltage, high power generation efficiency, good braking performance, and it can be agood motor braking energy recovery.Due to high efficiency, high power factor can reduce the input current, according lengthened calculated,three-phase asynchronous motors with optimized magnetism increase19%than ordinarymotor, which means that the same charge capacity of the battery, driving distance extends19%thanthe average three-phase asynchronous motors. At the same time when the motor stop, becausethree-phase asynchronous motors with optimized magnetism can back the state, so the kineticenergy can be converted into electrical energy stored up, which is equivalent to an increase ofdriving distance. So three-phase asynchronous motors with optimized magnetism as the vehicledrive motor is very appropriate, and has good application prospects.
