Automotive automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT) is wider range of speed ratio change, through continuous adjusting transmission ratio, it can make the engine always work along the best fuel economy curve or the best dynamic curve in any condition, to save fuel, simple operation, reducing pollution exhaust.Now, military vehicles, such as tanks, have more than seven gear ranges, and engineering vehicles, such as FAW, have more than nine gear ranges. In addition, These vehicles’ working environment is very bad, and it owns very large body and requires a good operation flexibility. However, at present, the most widely used CVT is metal belt CVT, Mainly used in small cars, According to the latest research results,12layers metal belt can transfer the maximum torque for400N-M, this is far not meeting these heavy vehicles’demand, So need a CVT that can pass high torque.Pin chain continuously variable transmission currently is mainly used in the audi car emissions in2.0more cars, is a kind of CVT that can transfer high torque. However need through the experiment box to test. In addition, because the chain continuously variable transmission friction fever is very serious, also has the polygon effect, the transmission can overcome these adverse conditions also need to experiment to test cases.The developing history, system constitution, and working principle of high-torque CVT are systematically introduced firstly. The developing direction of home and abroad is also analyzed in this paper. This paper is based on the former study which has been made. According to the equirement and the trait of the high-torque CVT, design the new electro-hydraulic control system that meets high-torque CVT. Such as designed the gear pump that meets high oil temperature environment conditions of work, pipeline and chose proportional valves. At the same time researched the pressurized of hydraulic system in detail, Method oftransfer function analysis was used to create mathematical model of them. Ultimately, the control strategy of speed ratio and pressure is accomplished.The high-torque CVT has wide application foreground because of its excellent effects on improving the cars’ performance and enhancing the cars’ market competition, especially improving the driving performance and maneuverability of Engineering vehicles and military vehicles.
