At first, this paper does static analysis to a steering spindle. Break appears in the stub axle for improper use. Utilizing the knowledge of material mechanics, simplify the axle to a cantilever beam, model, divide elements, load, solve and get the maximum stress. Combined with laboratory report, the result is proved right to suspect. And the paper also does some revised designs.Next, load a Positioning harmonic load and One-way moving load on the simple beam, do transient analysis, and extract the maximum displacements. Combined with the theoretical formula, count the maximum displacement theoretically. It is proved that the errors are rational to this limited extent. Even utilizing ANSYS is more audio-visual and visual than numerical method.Do model analysis and transient analysis to cantilever beam and simple beam. Utilizing separate method, put the mass block on the different nodes and do model analysis, analyze the trend of change of the natural frequency of mass-beam system. Load harmonic load on the beam, change the location of the mass block and do transient analysis, extract the absolute displacement value when the movement of middle node is maximum, and do comparison.Finally, based on the form results, place a damper on the beam and do damper-model analysis and transient dynamic analysis, study the affect of the damper to the frequency and altitude.
