In recent years, with the rapid development of national economy, all sorts of energyconsumption also rose sharply, electric power industry as the foundation of the country’s mostimportant energy industry plays a vital role. The stability of power system is not just about thepeople’s daily life and even affects national security, so how to ensure the safe and stableoperation of power system is becoming a hot spot of many electric power professional expertsand scholars. This paper studies the containing TCSC multi-machine power system transient stabilityproblem, based on the Lyapunov theory combined with backstepping control method todesign the nonlinear controller of TCSC multi-machine power system. Based on the twomotors in the actual angle and rotating speed difference within the constraint score, theLyapunov function with constraint restrictions is designed to ensure that the state of theconstraint restriction. The adaptive controller design problem with uncertain parameters isexplored in the multi-machine system with state constraint. Finally, the actual operation angleand rotating speed difference in the multi-machine system transient response is improved bymeans of backstepping control method. The simulation results demonstrate the effective of thedesigned controller.
