| This paper outlines the history and development of the domestic super battery, mainly focusing on advantages of the nickel-zinc batteries, which are high open-circuit voltage reaching1.6V, the specific energy up to50-80Wh· Kg-1,specific power as much as200WKg-1, wide operating temperature range between-20~65℃, a wide range sources of raw materials, low price, and not polluting the environment. However nickel-zinc batteries suffer from low effieicncy in high-rate charge-discharge condition and cycle life is short Therefore, in order to solve the problems of nickel-zinc batteries, a new kind of nickel-zinc battery is prepared to compensate for the shortcomings super-nickel-zinc battery to improve the battery performance.In this experiment, the nickel hydroxide as positive electrode material for nickel-zinc batteries were prepared and XRD results indicate that positive electrode material have both β-Ni (OH)2and a-Ni (OH)2-Thus, the nickel electrode’s electrochemical activity of the active material can’t be determined. This nickel hydroxide positive electrode is compared with a nickel electrode bought elsewhere. It’s found that not only nickel electrode’s reversibility of bought one is better but also chemical activity.Research on super-capacity nickel-zinc batteries found that our super-nickel-zinc battery capacity is about25mAh, and measurement of the active substance in the nickel electrode is lower than the capacity of the zinc anode active material, the battery decide from nickel electrode.Charging and discharging ordinary nickel-zinc batteries and super nickel-zinc battery under four different conditions found that ordinary nickel-zinc batteries in the case of high-rate charge and discharge has lower energy efficiency. However, not only in the nickel-zinc batteries super high magnification can charge and discharge, but also energy efficiency increases. especially when nickel-zinc-doped Cwt20%super battery in the charge-discharge rate of2C. its efficiency (energy efficiency) can reach85%.Ordinary nickel-zinc batteries and nickel-zinc battery cycle life test super find that common nickel-zinc batteries in its first10charge-discharge cycle,the highest efficiency can reach90%, but after40cycles a battery can no longer discharge. However, the preparation of nickel zinc battery charge and discharge cycles super-efficiency can reach100times more than80%. after200charge-discharge cycles,mixed Cwt5.7%super-prepared cell’s efficiency can reach66%, the preparation of doped Cwt10%super cell efficiency can reach55%. the preparation mixed with a super battery Cwt5.720%after400charge-discharge cycles. the energy efficiency can reach80%. |
