Sensitivity analysis and prediction of fatigue life of drive axle housing of heavy dutytruck on random road based on rigid-flex coupled virtual prototype,come up with a group ofparameters by multi-objective analysis using structural parameters. the key fact of predictionof fatigue life of drive axle is the partial derivative of maximum stress to structural parametersby sensitivity analysis of fatigue life of drive axle housing. Establish rigid-flex coupled modelof whole vehicle by creating flex part of drive axle housing using MPC according to actualparameters of some heavy duty truck. Obtain characteristic curve of thickness of axle housing,distance of spring seats, wheel track to maximum amplitude of drive axle housing byregression analysis according results of dynamics and FEA simulations and analysis theinfluence of speed and road. By comparing and defining correction factor, make simulationresults be consistent with fatigue test results. comparing the influence of key structuralparameters to fatigue life of drive axle housing under varies conditions.optimization offatigue life of drive axle housing for sigle and multipule loadcase using method of coordinatesexchange,Multi-objective optimization of fatigue life and weightiness of drive axle housing,roll stability of vehicle using genetic algorithm, comparison of the results of this twomethod.calculation and experimental verification of equivalent fatigue life.
