Temperature is one of the fundamental values of the international system ofunits, temperature scale is an expressive method of the temperature. InternationalTemperature Scale (ITS-90) defined photoelectric pyrometer as the standardequipment above the freezing point of silver (961℃.7)8tem perature scale.Photoelectric pyrometer RT9031and RT9032is currently National Institute ofMetrology temperature for high-temperature scale transfer’s standard equipment.RT9032photoelectric pyrometer is developed based on the RT9031, reduced the sizeof source effect to the temperature scale realization and portability, but sacrificed theaccuracy of the temperature measurement. National Institute of Metrology prepare todevelop a new generation of photoelectric pyrometer which is based on RT9031andRT9032photoelectric pyrometer.This article have made some preliminary preparation and testing for the birth ofthe new generation photoelectric pyrometer of National Institute of Metrology,RT9031130636photoelectric pyrometer is based on the RT9031, mainly replaced theelectrical measuring system amplifier, and the supply voltage of amplifier circuitdecoupling, the amplifier circuit board is placed more closer to detector andlow-noise plus copper mesh shielding. Testing related parameters of RT9031130636photoelectric pyrometer and calibration experiments,such as amplifier gaincoefficient measurements, spectral responsivity measurement, silver freezing-pointtemperature scale realization,the size of source effect,distance effect and nonlinear ofthe system and so on. Meanwhile testing the filter cut-off characteristics impacting onphotoelectric pyrometer calibration experiment with RT9031130636.Finished RT9031130636photoelectric pyrometer performance test, theuncertainty between800℃and2474℃is0.3-1.7℃.It is only half a year of theexperimental conditions, the long-term stability is also continue to do some relativeexperiments. Filter cut-off characteristics impacting on photoelectric pyrometercalibration experiment showed that different applications should select differentcut-off levels of interference filters to meet the corresponding measurement accuracyrequirements. RT9031130636photoelectric pyrometer provides test instrumentation forNational Institute of Metrology develop a new generation photoelectric pyrometer, atthe same time provides some experimental basis for further research, possess certainreference significance.
