The excellent fuel system has an important influence on comprehensive performance of diesel engine, regard it as the "heart" of diesel engine lives up to its name. And the solenoid valve for electronic control fuel system is also like this, it directly controls the start and end for the oil injection of electronic control fuel injection system. This article has a study based on foreign advanced electronic control diesel engine fuel system and solenoid valve, and has carried on an electronic injection reform and design on domestic diesel engine fuel system. The process of specific research work is mainly according to the following several aspects:Firstly, it has a detailed introduction to the structure, the working principle, the numerical calculation theory and the mathematical equations of electronically controlled diesel engine fuel system and solenoid valve, makes a good theory foundation for the numerical simulation calculation.Then, in allusion to the research object of this article, the fuel system and solenoid valve of16V265H diesel engine for HXN3diesel locomotive, according to the work of author’s team for surveying and mapping engineering drawings to the research object, used the GT-Fuel software as platform to set up the numerical simulation model of them. In order to realize the simulation of the original machine combustion emissions, also used the GT-Power software to set up the numerical model of the original engine, and set up the coupling calculation model for both based on GT-Flow simulation platform.Thirdly, with the help of above-mentioned established model, the basic performance of solenoid valve was calculated. Systematically studied some main parameters of solenoid valve, such as the starting current, maintain current, spring pre-tightening force, spring stiffness, moving parts mass on the influence of solenoid valve response characteristic and the fuel injection characteristics of the fuel system. Also studied the solenoid valve parameters on the influence of combustion emissions properties of the engine.Fourthly, with the use of Pro/E3D modeling software and finite element analysis software ANSYS according to the characteristics of the solenoid valve moving parts has a high-frequency movement, had the intensity and fatigue analysis on its damageable parts, such as valve core and return spring.Finally, with the rise of diesel engine efi necessity and comprehensive upsurge, for most of the domestic locomotive diesel engines are equipped with fuel system configuration of mechanical pump-tube-nozzle and the structure characteristic is already a fact, with12V240ZJH diesel engine as an example, made the modified design of electronic fuel injection for the fuel system. And used the GT-Fuel software to build the model of original machine and the improved electronic control fuel system, using the simulation model to analyze and compare some fuel injection performance, such as injection pressure and needle lift, cycle fuel injection quantity, fuel injection rate, fuel injection mass flow rate, cam movement characteristics of the original machine and the new improved fuel system.Through the above work, mastered some basic operating characteristics of the EMD solenoid valve and fuel system. And laid a good groundwork for studying and learning foreign advanced electronic control diesel engine. To provide a theoretical reference and the feasibility of certain for the improvement of electronic control fuel injection of domestic diesel engine fuel system, it has important significance for technological development of fuel injection system.
