| In recent years,our country’s construction of the street lamps has achieved a great development and the quality of road lighting has improved continuously,which has made a great contribution to improving the investment climate in our country,promoting the economic environment and enhancing the city image.Meanwhile,the road lighting has been consuming a great deal of electrical energy. According to the relevant statistics, urban living has consumed seventy percent of the global energy and fifteen percent of that is consumed by the road lighting. With the enlargement of the city scale and the development of the street lamp construction, the power consumption of the road lighting continued to increase and the electricity cost rose substantially, which has led to the large amount of coal burning and environmental pollution.Therefore, energy-efficient lighting becomes more and more important.Around the focused problem---energy-efficient lighting, this paper states the basic principles of energy-efficient lighting and analyzes the main problems remaining in the existing power-saving devices. Through the deep analysis of the operating characteristics of road lighting distribution network and the electrical properties of the street lamps,this paper concluded the required function and performance characteristics of energy-efficient lighting devices and provided theoretical basis for the proposing of the energy saving solution based on the voltage reactive power optimization.This paper presents using voltage reactive power optimization to achieve energy-efficient lighting. This solution could reduce the power loss in a large margin in the precondition of optimizing the electrical environment of the street lighting,to achieve the best energy saving effect. This paper elaborates the principles of saving energy by using the voltage reactive power optimization technology, the structure of energy-saving devices, the hardware circuit and the software flow chart of the voltage reactive power integrated controller.Through the on-site verification and the energy efficiency tests by the national authority section, in the precondition of meeting the lighting standards,the energy-saving device is able to save the electrical energy by more than fifteen percent. With the high reliability and price-quality ratio,this device possesses great promotional value and achieved the expected design goals. |
