In recent years, along with the national science and technology continue to implement, the rapid development of the national economy, the automobile industry is developing rapidly. As one of important component of automobile crankshaft, along with the automobile industry development, the annual output is growing rapidly, at the same time because foreign carmakers parts manufacturing areas, the annual output of about5000000crankshaft. The production of low cost small beat efficiency become the major enterprises pursue the mode of production. The mode of crankshaft machining are rough machining--heat treatment strengthening--fine processing, heat treatment hardening the surface quenching and tempering to finish, surface quenching by automatic car quenching machine, tempered by continuous tempering furnace to realize the characteristics of tempering furnace, the area is large, production cycle is long, the bad working environment. At present, at home and abroad, some parts of surface quenching and tempering on the use of surface quenching after the self tempering process model, this process will tempering process function by controlling the surface quenching tempering function to realize part of Yu Wen, is better to save the production cost, improve production efficiency.In this paper, a large number of experimental research process through optimization of the crankshaft surface hardening process parameters, by controlling the crankshaft surface hardening process, cooling time, so that after the completion of the crankshaft hardening the core temperature has some involvement, the use of this part of the core of the warmth of the crankshaft back fire treatment. Self-realization of the crankshaft surface hardening and tempering process, and then from the crankshaft using surface hardening techniques and the use of performance indicators tempering process conducted under the effect of argumentation, meet the performance requirements of the crankshaft to use. will eventually surface hardening and tempering process model from the use of to the crankshaft. Finally, since the crankshaft surface hardening and tempering process using ECRS analysis and observation method for processing time within the optimization process step to further shorten the process tact.Surface hardening and self-tempering process are first applied to the crankshaft of heat strengthened. Canceled after tempering process reduces the tempering production line equipment, production line layout and logistics are improved. Meanwhile optimized crankshaft using surface hardening and tempering process makes the heat from the production line to strengthen the process and other processes over the same period of the beat.
