Today, the rapid development of the airport construction in China, presents ablossoming everywhere and trend of prosperity. Vast airport construction or expansionwill inevitably involve different high fill slope program, but the problem of high fillslope instability, economic issues and environmental impact seriously restricting thefeasibility of the program. The height of the highest filling slope is40meters atleveling boundary where among the aircraft parking zone of WanZhou Airport, whichbelongs to the representative high fill slope of airport. Therefore, based on theprograms of the high fill slope in aircraft parking zone,this thesis conducted in-depthresearch.In this thesis, first of all, in order to identify the engineering geological conditionsof the study area,wu use engineering geological mapping, field drilling, laboratory testsand other means. On this basis,combined with previous research results the authorproposed two sets of high fill slope programs. program I: Clear the topsoil, dividedinto three levels according to the1:2ratio of slope, put the slope out of the levelingboundary and set of4m-wideth steps per level, fill a total of1.2million cubic meters.program II: put the overall slope ratio for a1:0.89, three levels stepped geogridreinforced soil retaining wall is chosed to deal with the higg filling slope and every stepwidth is3meters, fill a total of0.84cubic meters.The author selected the typical profiles, the use of limit equilibrium method ofslope stability problems filling sets were analyzed under the program evaluation andcomparison,two sets of programs for economic benefits were calculated andcomparative studied, influencing factors and the degree of harm to the environmentare discussed in detail and analyzed.Based on the results of the above three aspects,the author introduced comprehensive influencing factors model,which is used for thecomprehensive comparison study of two sets of programs and suggested Program IIas the high filling slope program of the aircraft parking zone expansion project.The author constructed a three dimensional model of high filling slope based on Program II and in-depth analysised its stability.discussed the stress, displacement andplastic zone distribution whether joined geogrid units,hope for do some contributionsfor the mechanism of geogrid.The analysis results show that the geogrid caneffectively improved the stress on internal and surface of slope,avoided stressconcentration effection,improved the overall stability of the slope; after geogridworking, the surrounding soil was played a certain restriction, lateral displacementalso has been limited,made the stress in the soil pass to the deepth;shear strainincrement dispersed to the surrounding area, limited the failure surface developmentand breakthrough,geogrid mechanism increased the shear strength of soil;Beforecomparing reinforced range greatly reduced,only in the bottom of the retaining walland filling body within the local sporadic plastic zone,improved the ability of fillingbody resistance to plastic deformation, in favor of the overall stability of the highfilling slope.Finally the author put forward the foundation treatment, filling body treatmentand drainage treatment measures that were suggested on high filling slopeengineering.
