A Study Of User Experience Design For Mobie Application Based On Context-Awareness

With the rapid development of information technology, sensor technology and mobile technology, people-centered situational awareness of mobile application is the inevitable trend of apps. As a medium of people interact with intelligent device, the user experience and availability of mobile applications is affected by users, intelligent terminal, and environment and so on the many kinds of complex of situational factors. The traditional intelligent terminal mobile applications are using a single logic for all users of uniform design, and basicly have no consideration of the situational factors, so these apps are unable to meet the needs of users increasingly complex and changeable needs. In the application of the design and development process, user experience design for mobile application based on context-awareness makes situation factors as an important factor.Using user experience design knowledge, mobile applications could make situation factors rational in information interaction and interface presentation.The apps can realize active perception of the situation changes, without any increasing in user operation burden, improved the usability of the application and user satisfaction.This paper mainly studied user experience design for mobile application based on context-awareness.With the reseach of concept, system, technology and knowledge theory of context-awareness and user experience design, the paper creatively put forward the model of user experience design for mobile application based on context-awareness.In this paper, the model of user experience design for mobile application based on context-awareness divides context-awareness app design into five stages:the target demand stage, functional design stage, interactive information stage, interface stage, and evaluate feedback stage. Each stage has to complete the user experience goals of each stage.In the target and functional design stages, the situational factors should been considered into the concept of product design. And in the information interaction, interface and evaluation feedback stages, reflect the key effect of situational factors how to affect in product feedback and interfaced judgment. On this basis, combining with the "mobile WIFI" design practice and evaluation of design model, the evaluation results show that the users have high satisfactionfor context-awareness fanctions of mobile WIFI, and the user’s operation efficiency is higher than befor, verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the modle. And the model can be usedto guide the design of mobile phone apps based on context-awareness.
