In recent years, China’s urban underground engineering space get unprecedenteddevelopment, the subway construction engineering receives it’s golden age. With theincreasing number of underground structure, the underground structure seismic safetyattracts more and more attention. The subway underground structure,because of highcost, use of long cycle, difficult to repair, should strengthen the seismic design.However, so far, there is still lack of a scientific seismic analysis method and designcode for the underground subway structures in china.According to Nanjing metro, the engineering background of a metro station,based on ABAQUS finite element analysis software, this paper to analysis horizontalseismic response of the subway underground station by response displacementmethod, response accelerated method and dynamic analysis method, gieves apreliminary study of the subway underground station in a horizontal earthquake actionof earthquake response characteristics, and compared and analyzed the calculationresults among displacement method, response accelerated method and dynamicanalysis method. Finally, according to the actual project, using near field wave, farfield wave and nanjing artificial wave to analysis and study horizontal earthquakeaction of non equilateral cross subway station.The conclusions are as follows:(1) Both response displacement method and response accelerated method canapply to the subway station underground seismic response analysis, three kinds ofcalculation methods of calculating the subway underground station seismic responsegieve the same rule.(2) If the calculation results of dynamic analysis method is correct, whenbedrock wave is far field wave and nanjing artificial wave,the calculation results ofresponse displacement method are smaller and the relative error is larger, thecalculation results of response accelerated method are larger and the relative error issmaller;when bedrock wave is near field wave, both the calculation results ofresponse displacement method and response accelerated method are smaller, the relative error of response displacement method are smaller, the relative error ofresponse accelerated method are larger.(3) When the non equilateral cross subway station is in the horizontalearthquake action,the Mises stress of the column and wall to smaller side is largerthan that of bigger ones.Whether the distribution of the lateral stiffness of structure isuniform affects the structural seismic capacity, We can take relevant measures toimprove the lateral stiffness of the structure of smaller side span to make the lateralstiffness of structure become uniform.
