"The first-class products must reflect the basic characteristics of culture". As the wave of culture globalization is sweeping, the application of traditional culture elements with regional characteristics in the design has become a mainstream trend in today’s design development. The traditional Chinese culture elements play an important role on a global scale. In the background of cultural integration, the traditional culture has become an indispensable part. Bringing Chinese traditional culture into design will promote the development of globalization design. Regardless of its physical elements and spiritual elements, the Chinese traditional culture has been a guiding role in the design with its comprehensiveness and profoundness. It is the burning desire of designer to make good use of Chinese traditional culture elements and devise Chinese-style products.Computer, Communication and Consumer Electronics closely related to our lives are the representative of the modern way of life. The development trend of3C products is wearable form. Products can be isolated without culture. People always have no sense of belonging in the use of3C products without culture infiltration. The trend integrating traditional culture elements into3C products is quietly formed. The vivid use of traditional culture elements in3C products usher in a new wind and disentangle them from the wholly limited images, then create the new paradigm of science and technology.The paper studies the traditional culture elements from the height of the globalization and localization firstly. Through the analysis of design characteristics in the leading countries, the paper extracts the mainstream values and fashion which is exquisite and concise in the design. What is important is that the designer must create on the basis of the global aesthetic standard, compared with the use of traditional culture elements. Then, the paper extracts and then to find the essence of traditional culture elements, which is from the aspects of the spiritual culture and material culture and the influence characteristics in Chinese traditional design concepts. This paper put forward the fusion methodology of traditional culture elements and modernity. Finally, a set of overall approach is offered from the sensory level, cultural level and behavior level and used in the3C products design.
