Study On The Supply-demand And Sustainable Utility Of Winter Resources In Daxing District

The sustainable utility of water resources supports and safeguards the economic and socialdevelopment. Daxing District, the new district in the overall plan of the Beijing Municipality, whichshoulders the responsibility of decentralizing the population of central city and assembling newindustries, has become an area with comprehensive water shortages due to the limited resources.Through the study on the supply-demand and sustainable utility of water resources in Daxing District,the thesis aims at finding out a method to safeguard the sustainable development of water resources andwater environment in Daxing District so as to promote its sustainable economic and social development.First of all, the thesis introduces the background and significance of study. Then an analysis ofwater utility structure and comprehensive evaluation is conducted based on the collected data on thenatural, economic and social conditions as well as the amount of water resources in Daxing District.Hence the problem in water usage is explored and the analysis of the balance between supply anddemand of water resources is made.Secondly,,the thesis prospects the daily-life water consumption, producing water consumption andrecycled water volume. And the annual water supply volume of Daxing District is obtained on the basisof a prediction on underground water volume, water supply of South-to-North Water Diversion Project,water supply of Beijing Municipality administration and recycled water. Through the data comparisonof supply and demand, it is concluded that Daxing is short of water resources and the supply-demandrelationship is far from balancedFinally, the thesis puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to safeguard the economic andsocial sustainable development of Daxing District:1. improving the construction of water resourcesmanagement system;2.reinforcing the system construction of water resources;3. advancing industrystructural adjustment actively and reducing water resources consumption;4. speeding up theconstruction of technological system to utilize water resources more effieciently;5.strenghtening thesocial behavior regulation system and awareness of saving water.
