Research On CIPS Automatic Statistics And Analysis System Of Railway Marshalling Station

As an important part of railway marshalling station’s daily work, statistics and analysis work is not only an intuitive reflex of transportation production situation over a period of time, but also an important means to help to analyze transportation production problems, to assist production plan making and executing, as well as to provide basis for decision-making of station management, its information system is also an indispensable part of marshalling station’s integrated management information system. In recent years, computer integrated process system (CIPS), which is the supreme exponent of the integrated automation technology of marshalling stations, has been used more widely. It marks a new level of the integrated automation technology in China’s marshalling stations, which also brings some new requirements to information and intelligence construction of statistics and analysis work. Nonetheless, for various reasons, existing statistics report system has some problems in service, such as the difficulty of meeting new demand proposed by users, insufficiently rational overall architecture and implementation technology, and so on, so the system has high failure rate, bad stability and poor performance. As a result, user satisfaction is not high, and the technical advantages are not perfectly performed.To resolve above mentioned problems, this paper analyses the application and research status about statistics and analysis work in marshalling stations, it makes a concrete analysis of problems in existing system on the basis of introducing situation of CIPS, and consequently comes up with the solutions. Associating with users’ demand, this paper uses structured analysis method modeling the demand of new CIPS automatic statistics and analysis system. Then it establishes the new overall architecture, separates functional modules, design the network topology of system, and makes detailed design about processing flow, database and system interface. This paper also discusses some algorithm which is used to extract statistics basic data, designs the data warehouse models, sets up the data cubes which help users grasping and analyzing historical data in different transportation production subjects, and proposes solutions to flexible report builder in marshalling stations by analyzing its characteristics.Finally, by using the Sujiatun Marshalling Station in Shenyang Railway Bureau as an application, this paper develops the new CIPS automatic statistics and analysis system, and then tests the system. The test results shows that the new system has solved the problems which that used to exist in old system and makes a great progress, and the new system is qualified for being used in actual marshalling stations projects after further system tests in stations.
