In the rapid development of the global economy and urbanization environment, theurban traiffc problems have become increasingly prominent. In order to ease trafficcongestion and solve residents travelling problems, subway becomes the best and mosteffective choice. As an important industry city in the northeast of China, in order to easetraffic pressure brought by population growth and expanding scale of urbandevelopment, subway construction has become the core of Shenyang constructionprojects. Based on the research and analysis of hydrogeology, engineering geologymaterials of N.0.2subway in Shenyang (North extended), design and practice ofdewatering scheme was conducted in the section of College of Engineering in order tosecure the safety of engineering construction.Based on the analysis the topography and landfonn, geological structure, stratumlithology, hydro geology materials, according to the corresponding standard procedures,selecting the appropriate research method, geotechnical engineering investigation wascarried out in the research section. The foundation soil properties, engineeringgeological conditions and hydrogeological conditions were determined. In order todetermine basic parameters information for the strata and soil characteristics requiredfor dewatering design, flat dilatometer test, pressure meter test, wave velocity andresistivity test were carried out, which provided the guaranteed parameters and analysisbasis for the further design. Through the analysis of dewatering test design and test data,the characteristics of surrounding rock ch^ges and the depth relationship betweenwater level and engineering were determined, which provided guidance for thedewatering design and method. Finally, according to the corresponding specification,dewatering and drainage design were carried out to meet the requirements for subwayconstruction, and the proposed auxiliary measures can effectively ensure the smoothimplementation of the dewatering engineering.
