On the layout of the building height,Hainan estate gardens taked the ocean landscape as the primary factor, which often do not follow geomantic principle "higher north, lower south" or "higher east, lower west". The theory "balance of Yin and Yang","attributes of five elements" of geomantic omen was used to plant landscape. The common geomantic omen trees of Hainan real estate were Michelia alba, Ficus microcarpa, Cocos nucifera, Areca catechu, Bombax ceiba, Tamarindus indica, Plumeria rubra ’Acutifolia’, etc. |
