Language Of Light——Analysis Of Light Environment Design In Interior Space

From1879Edison invented the light bulb to2000LED was used in the design of indoor lighting, interior lighting design has been gaining progress and innovation for over100years.Lights in the application and development of interior design is not only the epitome of the progress of human civilization, but also shows the existing significance and important role of light in interior design. Along with the rapid development of modern technology、Internet of things, changes of people’s life idea and lifestyle and increase of requirement of life quality, the indoor space decorating means has become more and more abundant, the light is more and more applied to the decoration of interior space, which make light an irreplaceable element in interior space decoration. Light plays a vital role in the artistic creation of light and shadow, space atmosphere building and emotional rendering in indoor space. People’s continuous improvement and innovation in lighting design make indoor light environment design change from the original single visual functions of lighting to the diversity of decorative art lighting transformation. Topic of this paper is creating a new design concept of light environment-the language of light. It needs to combine the development of modern science and technology achievements in the process of design, highlight the cultural characteristics and artistic performance, and make a perfect combination of scientific and artistic in the design of light environment. Lighting design not only ensures our perception of object, but also can convey emotion, historical and cultural information. We need to look beyond the distinction between the aesthetic value and function of value of light, and consider the language of light as an integral whole.
