Abstract/Summary:
With the understanding and exploration of human to universe, and since the application of the rendezvous and docking technology, the world aware of the importance of on-orbit servicing technology increasingly.On-orbit servicing technology level is a important developmental measurement of a country’s aerospace industry. This research is based on a new kind of space docking mechanism, combined with current development at home and abroad, and designed a new type of electromagnetic docking mechanism. Electromagnetic docking mechanism have the advantages of long docking distance,micro-impact to spacecraft and controllable speed at the end of docking process, etc. This electromagnetic docking mechanism provide a new thought in on-orbit docking technology and it can improve the performance of the docking mechanism in China.According to the space electromagnetic docking mechanism research of on orbit, the main research contents are as followed:(l)Mechanical devices and control devices were designed for electromagnetic space docking mechanism, and the docking mechanism strength analysis and modal were finished,and it verify the reliability and feasibility of the mechanism.(2) According to the analysis of space launch technology, and design a variety of power transmission project. Through calculation and analysis, get the best emission mechanism and then master a new launching technology.(3) Modeling based on rigid-flexible coupled mechanism collision theory, dynamics simulation analysis used GSTIFF integral method in rigid-flexible coupled mechanism, and get the movement and kinetic curves of the electromagnetic docking mechanism. (4) Based on the theory of Maxwell’s equations, using the FEA(finite element analysis) for model partitioning unstructured grid simulation of electromagnetic coupling, get the results of different materials on the docking mechanism to current and electromagnetic, and it verify the reliability and stability of the electromagnetic docking mechanism. Simulation results show that:Control the attitude of spacecraft and the current of electromagnetic docking mechanism reasonably can improve the success rate of docking performance effectively, and then master a new kind of on-orbit non-contact electromagnetic docking mechanism.
