| Motor and its energy conservation involve multiple disciplinary, specialtyand field. The corresponding measures using in different working condition, theload characteristic, craft-work process and working place are not same. As animportant element of motor system, the induction motor and its operatingcharacteristic directly influence the efficiency of motor system. When theinduction motor working at a low speed, speed reducing installation andfrequency conversion system are necessary, they must increase the cost of thewhole motor system,and rapidly reduce the system efficiency, effect the systemsecurity at the same time.For this reason, researching of new type low-speedinduction motor is one fundamental method to improve motor system efficiencyand reliability.To solve this technical problem, a low-speed induction motor with a newtype winding is proposed in this paper. Fractional slot concentrated winding isused in the motor. According to the particularity of the structure and arrangementof the windings in this paper,12-slot10-pole submersible motor is used as anexample to correct the main parameters of the stator reactance formulas andsatisfactory motor size design is computed. Using finite element method toachieve2D-Simulation, the2-D model of motor after corrected is built by finiteelement electromagnetic calculation software, and the magnetic potential ofmotor is analysised at the same time. After analysis of the motor mechanicalproperties and performance characteristics, the motor is verified to have a goodrobustness on mechanical properties and favorable performance characteristics.As there is a great difference of winding form between the new type motor andthe traditional motor, the design motor has a greater content of magnetic potentialharmonics, then a serious problem of heating is produced. To verify therationality of new type winding design and generation,the finite element method is used in the paper to analysis the3-D steady state temperature field of themotor after corrected. The temperature distribution regularities in the new typewinding motor is revealed, the reliability when the motor generation and therationality of new type winding is further verified.In this paper, a experimental prototype is product and corresponding test isfinished to verify the correctness of the design theory provided. Contrasting withthe finite element simulation outcome, the result of no load and temperaturerising experiment show the accuracy of design method provided. The number ofpole is increased in the condition of maintain the motor original size, and themotor speed is slowed down. The achievement of this paper can help realize theefficient generation of induction motor at low speed, provide a new direction forlow speed induction motor design, lay a foundation for multi-aspect like specialmotor analysis and design. |
