Taking the32T truck crane as the analysis object in this paper, the model of the upper and lower rotary parts and telescopic arm were established and static analysis through3D modeling software Pro/E and FE-Simulation software ANSYS Workbench after searching the literature, in-depth research and verification of traditional theory. According to the results of the simulation, the cross section and lap part of the telescopic arm was optimized to make a better performance. Stability and reliability of the entire crane was investigated by ADAMS.First, according to the crane parameters and the most dangerous working conditions to calculate the theoretical foundation, to analysis the load, strength, stiffness and stability of telescopic. Because of the traditional empirical formula is a little rough, a lot of formula are simplified by experience, this situation have a greater impact on accuracy, especially the calculation of slider local stress. So we do static analysis on the truck crane, establish a three-dimensional model of the whole truck crane vehicle in Pro/E, and meshing, load add, constraint processing, solving and post-processing through the Workbench. The upper and lower rotary parts and telescopic arm of crane were analyzed separately in statics. And determine whether the stiffness, strength meets the requirements.Second, the results of the static analysis show that the material of the telescopic arm has not been fully utilized for more stiffness and strength. So the further optimization design of the truck crane was conducted in this paper. Several major influence factors on the lifting performance of the telescopic could be found through the static analysis results. The weight of the telescopic has been reduced to make a better structure by optimizing these parameters while the stiffness and strength can be satisfied. The cost of manufacture and transportation can be saved by this optimization.Finally, create a virtual prototype of truck crane vehicle, the virtual prototype was processed to simulate actual working conditions. Measuring the height of the leg lift, and determine whether the vehicle unstable. By changing the stiffness of the ground, according to the leg with the ground forces and subsidence depth, calculated to satisfy the crane stable ground conditions, in order to ensure the stability of the vehicle to provide a guarantee.
