With the development of a scroll compressor, inverter compressor, vapor-injection compressor, etc. high-efficiency compressors emerged. Which required new compressor test method. This paper conducted a compressor test study, and proposed optimization plan for compressor test bench.This test bench main cycle using the second refrigerant calorimeter method. Secondary cycle using the liquid flow meter method. The bench following ISO917, EN13771-1, GB-T5773. Based on that, with following methods to optimize the test bench design, then improve the accuracy of the test results and test stability.(1) Optimizing the evaporator design. Increase the reaction rate of the refrigerant during heating by reducing the charge amount of secondary refrigerant. To speed up the compressor suction temperature stabilizing.(2) Improve OCR measurement accuracy by precise liquid level control. Using high-precision oil and gas separator to improve the measurement accuracy of OCR.(3) Introducing vapor injection cycle on test bench. To be applicable to new type of compressor test.(4) With multiple sets of PID designed to achieve a rough control during compressor start-up, and subsequent fine-control allows quick access to the steady stage of the compressor test.The experimental result shows test speed and repeatability have been greatly improved. |
